Ms. Ishio’s core principle is to protect lives, encompassing initiatives from preventing animal and child abuse to supporting nature and life-saving technology. She has significantly contributed to rebuilding schools globally and champions educational opportunities for underprivileged children, exemplified by her support for US NGO Worldbeing. Her commitment extends to organizing a 2025 Tokyo conference aimed at launching year-long initiatives for social issue solutions in Japan and worldwide.

Through her various capacities, Ms. Ishio contributes to a range of endeavors with a consistent focus on creating beneficial outcomes.
Building upon a foundation instilled by family – parents who supported aid to Africa and relatives who embraced rescued and fostered animals and children – Mimi Ishio and her husband have considered contributing to society a natural part of adulthood since their childhood. This has led to their involvement in supporting developing countries, animal welfare, single-parent families, and making donations to medical professionals.
Currently, her core principle is to support activities that protect lives. This encompasses initiatives focused on preventing animal abuse or child abuse, protecting nature, supporting the development of technology to save lives and promoting educational opportunities for the next generation.
Support also provided for the rebuilding of the following schools.
Burundi, Kigwati Primary and Secondary School, Vietnam, Thu Ghoi School, Sri Lanka, Indulmulla School, Cambodia, Royal University of Phnom Penh and more.
In the realm of educational support, Ms. Ishio is also a sponsor of the US NGO Worldbeing. This involvement includes hosting a dinner in Japan for underprivileged children from India, facilitating interactions with the Prime Minister’s family and other distinguished guests. One young girl, who previously attended a school without walls in a slum, gained confidence through the educational program and, inspired by her experience in Tokyo, is now attending a top university in her country.
Also, Ms. Ishio is organizing a conference in Tokyo in May 2025. This conference aims to promote solutions for social issues in Japan and globally, with the goal of launching year-long initiatives to address Japanese social challenges.
She is also concurrently involved in multiple other projects. At her core, she is driven by a wish to protect the valued possessions and well-being of her dear ones and family, and a commitment to extend her support to those who depend on her.
For the benefit of the next generation, she hopes to keep doing good works alongside people with good intentions.
